The ideal candidate will have experience working with employee resource groups, DE&I programs and initiatives and have an educational background in Business Administration, Multicultural & Diversity Studies or a related field. The objective of this role is support with various diversity, equity, and inclusion activities and assist in day-to-day related tasks.Position Type: Full-TimeWork Location: Naperville, ILThis role is eligible to participate in ALDI’s Hybrid Work Program, which allows remote work up to 3 days per week (i.e., work remotely up to 3 days per week; work in-office at least 2 days per week).Duties and Responsibilities:Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.Works closely with the Diversity Equity & Inclusion team to foster a culture of inclusion. Serves as a point of contact for program participants to provide solutions and serve in a resource capacity. Recommends process improvements for area of responsibility. Provides comprehensive operational support to the Diversity Equity & Inclusion team by organizing, coordinating, and planning administrative processes for Diversity Equity & Inclusion programs including event planning, preparing operational materials, and diversity program management. Communicates business cases through graphics and design by aiding with the creation of diversity and inclusion related material such as slide decks, flyers, and internal & external marketing campaigns. Responds to employee and business partner inquiries, provides service or direction to the proper resources as needed. Manages the team and program calendars and tracks against key milestones. Assists with the long-term strategy of the Diversity Equity & Inclusion programs by performing research and tracking factors that may affect the success of the initiatives. Assists with ongoing and special projects to create meaningful connection, communication plans, and support for deliverables. Manages program and event costs as needed, including invoicing and prompt receipt of accounts payable. Supports diversity and inclusion initiatives from inception to completion, under the direction of leadership and inclusion groups. Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to leadership. Upholds the security and confidentiality of documents and data within area of responsibility. A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, Communications or Organizational Development required. Experience working with employee resource groups or working with employee networks preferred. Experience in design using Adobe Creative Suite preferred. Or, a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.Physical Requirements: Work is performed in an office environment where a computer, telephone and other office equipment are used as needed to perform duties. Regularly required to sit, reach, grasp, stand and move from one area to another. Constantly and repeatedly use keyboard/mouse.
