Technology Manager - Infra Cloud Platform

As a Cloud Operations Manager, you will provide a disciplined approach for the day to day operations associated with Ascension's cloud applications and environments, including deployment, management, monitoring, reporting, and troubleshooting of all production cloud systems. You will be required to engage and establish strong relationships with engineering, platform and product management teams to ensure feedback from production usage and operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, Develop, deploy, and run operations of Infrastructure services in the cloud environment
  • Create and manage day to day processes including Change Management, Incident Management and configuration Management
  • Lead and mentor team of Cloud Operations engineers
  • Cloud Infrastructure management, provisioning, cost management and planning
  • Drive the Strategy to evolve and modernize existing tools and processes to enable highly secure and scalable operations
  • Work on moving workloads from on prem infrastructure to cloud
  • Apply SRE principles to ensure systems reliability
  • Development and documentation of processes/run books for cloud operations
  • Responsible for the interaction with the Software and Platform engineering teams during deployment to represent the cloud ops needs
  • Work with Software, Platform, DevOps and SecOps engineering teams to ensure product features and patches comply with cloud deployment standards

About You

Have an engineering background (Preferably Computer Science) with 15+ years of experience in leading teams in managing infrastructure and at least 5 years' experience in managing cloud operations for large organizations
  • You work very well in a faster-paced, high growth environment
  • You are able to roll up your sleeves and get into the details when needed on tools and technologies on multi-cloud
  • You have experience in supporting both multi and hybrid cloud operations
  • You have lead in cloud transformation initiatives
  • You are constantly learning and looking for opportunities to improve the efficiency with technology and tools
What You Will Need: Education:
  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required.
Work Experience:
  • 3 years of experience required.
  • 5 years of experience preferred.
  • 1 year of leadership or management experience preferred
