Kelly Services is seeking a Solution Architect for a leading hospital and health care company. Job Title: Solution Architect Location: Chicago, IL (Currently Remote. JOB DETAILS: Our Client is looking to upgrade its Claim Pricing system to achieve significantly higher performance and scalability. The system is Java based with the IBM ODM rules engine and a DB2 database. They are looking for a highly technical Solution Architect with extensive experience in performance engineering. This individual would work with the Application Architects and other experts to understand constraints in the system today, propose changes (including re-architecture as needed) and conduct as necessarily proofs via tests that show how the proposed changes would meet the objectives. 1. Architecture Realization - Responsible for supporting project and/or product teams on functional and technical design activities to ensure alignment of detailed designs with the approved solution architecture. 2. Stakeholder Management - Maintain close working relationships management and delivery teams. 3. Raise risks, issues and key decision to leadership as required using structured and supporting analysis. 4. Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, Compliance Program policies and other applicable corporate and departmental policies. 5. Maintain complete confidentiality of company business. 6. Maintain communication with management regarding development within areas of assigned responsibilities and perform special projects as required or requested. JOB REQUIREMENTS: = • Bachelors' degree in related technical / business areas or equivalent work experience. • 10+ years of relevant work experience in application design and/or performance. • Very strong performance engineering skills • Strong Java and Relational DB skills • Ability to conduct Unit Performance Tests and working with Load & Performance Teams to define and evaluate larger performance tests PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS: • IBM ODM and DB2 If this position is of interest to you please share your updated word profile at and advise the best time and number at which you can be reached.
