CIT Trucks is seeking an energertic and detail oriented candidate to work at our Corporate Parts Warehouse. The Product and Purchasing Analyst must have an on-going desire to attain industry and product knowledge to develop successful vendor relationships. The analyst is responsible for assisting with the purchase of heavy and medium-duty truck related parts and accessories.CIT Trucks offers competitive wages and a complete benefit package including:

Essential Duties of the Product and Purchasing Analyst:

Negotiate parts pricing with vendors based on market research.

Utilize multiple vendor and ordering systems in order to purchase parts.

Build and maintain business relationships with vendors.

Develop product catalogs based on quality and value metrics

Compare pricing between vendors to determine cost effective purchases.

Prepare, maintain, and review purchasing files, reports and price lists.

Monitor trends and counts of parts in efforts to be proactive in ordering.

Monitor price changes and communicate changes.

Review open purchase orders as well as track, follow up, and report on back ordered parts and expedite as necessary.

This position requires light physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities of an administrative nature. The employee must periodically lift and/or move up to50 pounds. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and improperly illuminated space. Employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. This position operates in a well-lit, heated and/or air-conditioned office environment with adequate ventilation. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.

Must be at least 18 years old

High School Diploma or GED required

Bachelor’s Degree preferred or 1-3 years of similar experience in a fast paced environment

Must possess strong math, negotiating, and organizational skills

Ability to use multiple computer systems

Detail oriented
