- Seeking a Full Stack engineer with experience in Java, Spring Framework, & NoSQL to work with a new product team to deliver software that will integrate with a new auto damage estimating platform leveraging APIs and generates staff assignments.
- This is a JAVA full stack engineer role weighted more toward back end development, but also involves front end skills, such as JavaScript, CSS and React.
- A successful candidate will also be vocal among the team to challenge Java-based solutions for the best design and architecture that follows industry best practices to be scalable and flexible to meet future demands.
- Successful candidates must be exposed to working in an Agile XP (paired programming) environment.
- Backend with Java Spring
- Frontend with JavaScript, React or Angular, CSS
- Agile XP Programming experience
- Adapting to any testing framework
- TDD preferred
- Kafka
- Cloud experience is preferred
- Most developers are also skilled in DevOps, including systems administration-style work, such as, scripting deploys and setting up continuous integration.
- Development will be in an Agile XP environment where developers have competencies in all aspects of engineering, including testing/QA, front end JavaScript, back-end Java/Spring and SQL.
- This role drives quality delivery through Agile XP Methodology:
- Utilizing Paired Programming
- Leveraging Test-Driven Development (TDD)
- Daily interactions and open communication channels with you and your Product Manager
- Participation in Iteration Planning, Stand-up and Retrospective meetings
- Active participation in regular meetings (e.g. site standup, product team standup, iteration planning meeting, retrospective, lunch & learns)
