Perform routine tasks competently and independently, and generate reliable and consistent results.
Analyze and critique results, noting significant deviations.
Troubleshoot experiments and instrumentation.
Learn and understand new experimental techniques.
Demonstrate skill in multiple techniques and appropriately modify protocols, as required, to suit the changing needs of research or development sciences.
Place data in proper scientific context by consulting and citing relevant literature.
Demonstrate technical proficiency in his/her field.
Impact projects predominantly through lab activities.
Understand and adhere to corporate standards regarding code of conduct and safety.
qualifications:
Must possess a BA/BS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field with at least two years of relevant experience.
Shall be able to multitask and plan work to meet project deadlines.
Bench skills (mixing formulations, pipetting, physical characterization of samples), Electronic lab notebook usage and experiment documentation including strong organizational skills, Independent problem solving, experiment design, and technical trouble shooting skills, Ability to pickup new bench techniques quickly - working with emulsion systems and organic solvents, write protocols and reports and present results to a cross-functional team.
Must demonstrate strong problem solving and communication skills and be a team player.
