Job Title: Chemist III

Location: North Chicago, IL 60064

Duration: 6+ months

Role & Responsibilities: [Job Description]

Environmental analytical chemist with a master's degree or bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or closely related field with 5 years' experience and familiarity with the following:

  • Proficiency with LCMS/MS and wastewater analysis for trace-level pharmaceuticals and personal care products preferred
  • Ability to optimize LCMS/MS instrument parameters for selectivity and sensitivity to achieve ppb to ppt detection levels in complex sample matrices
  • Background in performing analytical method development and validation studies
  • Familiarity with Agilent HPLC and AB Sciex tandem mass spec systems preferred
  • Experience with Analyst or Mass Hunter software is ideal, but not required
  • Familiarity with EPA TNI 2016 and ISO 17025 standard requirements is ideal, but not required
