The Endpoint Security Engineer is responsible for protecting the company’s endpoints that are connected to the corporate network from security vulnerabilities and malicious threats.Job Responsibilities
Assists in the development and implementation of Endpoint Security strategies
Safeguards IT assets by identifying and resolving potential and actual malware problems.
Implements security improvements by assessing current situation, evaluating trends, and anticipating requirements.
Develop, implement, and maintain third-party tools to assist in detection, prevention, analysis, and removal of security threats
Constantly maintain technical proficiency by learning new advanced technology to be able to resolve complex security issues
Installation, maintenance, and support of data encryption, data loss prevention, and other security products and procedures
Partner with teammates and other IT groups to research, assess, and recommend improvements of environmental security controls
Perform Incident Management responsibilities to resolve security-related client issues
Represent the team in the Change and Problem Management process
Publish clear and concise knowledge base articles for supported products; communicate new articles to service partners
Coordinate activities and project support with other regional partners to address issues in EMEA, LATAM and JAPAC regions
Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate Policies and procedures
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements :
Bachelor’s Degree with 7 years of equivalent experience
Advanced certifications, such as CISSP, is a plus
Hands-on experience analyzing high volumes of logs and other attack artifacts in support of incident investigations
Experience with vulnerability scanning solutions such as the McAfee product suite and CrowdStrike
Experience with endpoint security solutions, including proficiency with anti-virus, firewall, encryption, data loss prevention, and file and removable media protection
Experience with supporting Microsoft Windows in an enterprise environment
Working knowledge of Group Policy Management
Planning, researching and developing security processes, standards and procedures
Experience with incident management, malware analysis, data analytics, & end user support
Working knowledge of TCP/IP and common networking ports and protocols
Excellent customer service, written and oral English communication skills
