As an intern, you will be located at our corporate headquarters in north suburban Chicago, with housing and shuttle services for eligible students.Department – Global Commercial DevelopmentAssignment DetailsCAR-T therapies hold tremendous promise for people diagnosed with a range of different cancer types. KYMRIAH and YESCARTA are two FDA approved CAR-T therapies. Many more are being evaluated in clinical studies. While CAR-T therapies are viewed as promising, a number of aspects are limiting the broader use of CAR-T therapy in cancer patients. A key element of the assignment is to assess the CAR-T landscape, identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. A second key element of the assignment is to identify opportunities and issues for the AbbVie CAR-T program given the overall CAR-T landscape. At the end of the assignment, the intern should make recommendations for AbbVie based on the broader landscape assessment and the assessment of the AbbVie program.Basic:
Completed at least one year of college education before beginning internship
Must be enrolled in school the semester following your internship
Masters in Science or Business, or PharmD
Minimum Cumulative GPA: 3.0/4.0
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship (students on an F1 visa with CPT can be accommodated).
