Financial Analyst, Corporate Admin FP&A ConsolidationsUSA, Illinois, Lake CountyNewFinanceRequisition #2002105The Financial Analyst, CADM Consolidations is a part of the Corporate Administration Group. The Financial Analyst is responsible for activities in support of the planning, reporting, and analytics of the AbbVie Corporate Administration consolidations group (Plan/LBE’s/LRP/Actuals), and various ad hoc analyses. Applies expanded knowledge of financial planning and accounting principles to support AbbVie Corporate Administration FP&A department function. Utilizes multiple financial and reporting systems including HFM, TM1, and ASPIRE. Consolidates information from multiple sources for routine and ad hoc reports. This position will also be responsible for preparation and analysis of special projects/assignments as they arise.Key Responsibilities Include:

Directly supports the Corporate Administration Consolidations manager in assisting in the month end close and financial reporting activities including updating/pulling flash P&L and balance sheet reports, supporting monthly LBE s, and preparation of related review packages with variance analysis/commentary on the P&L, balance sheet, HC, and capital.

Creates and maintains consolidation templates for planning and reporting purposes for Corporate Administration team.

Assists with variance analysis and commentary for planning cycles (Plan, Update, LRP) under guidance of manager.

Supports the maintenance and data loads into planning applications (HFM/TM1/ASPIRE) for Corporate Administration planning cycle submissions and related key consolidation package preparation (Plan, Update, LRP).

Responsible for assisting in planning Corporate Administration calendar due dates and deliverables in accordance with corporate submission dates.

Subject matter expert for GRC (Governance Risk Compliance) system for Corporate Administration Group and SRM processing.

RCE Admin: Administrator of the RCE process, which includes managing requisitions, providing approvals (when needed), ensuring compliance with corporate policy, and completion to SAP. Also support capital actuals tracking vs. Plan and Capital year-end requests

Assists in Depreciation forecasting for various planning cycles and some exchange variance requests.

Participates in and provides input to project teams – primarily ASPIRE testing and further development.

Responsible for compliance with applicable corporate policies and procedures.

Develops and maintains proper documentation of key processes and systems, trains others on departmental procedures, and initiates process improvements.

Delivers high quality, accurate results and analysis. Executes assigned tasks according to defined processes or framework.

Interfaces within and across work groups. Establishes partnership with customers both inside and outside the department.

Gathers data from a variety of sources and assists with ad hoc analysis and process improvements as requested to support Corporate Administration customers.

Organizes workload to complete assignments and routine work on time. Effectively manages unexpected changes in workload and adapts, seeking guidance as appropriate.

Works under minimal supervision in day-to-day activities and receives general guidance for ad hoc tasks.

Knowledge of basic accounting principals.

Bachelor’s degree required. Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.

Minimum 2+ years of related finance or accounting experience.

Strong communication skills and customer support.

Proficient Excel skills required, experience with TM1, HFM, ASPIRE, and SAP preferred.

Integrity, reliability, and teamwork are essential.

Ability to manage multiple assignments to meet deadlines.

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
