Mobility EngineerUSA, Illinois, Lake CountyNewInformation TechnologyRequisition #2002082This position requires technical expertise, responsible for managing and leading the on-going design and implementation for BTS Mobility Engineering. Responsibilities include oversight of daily operational activities, including ServiceNow record monitoring and escalations in the area of Messaging, SharePoint and other Office 365 operational services. Continuously seek to improve existing methods and processes. Read and adapt literature and publicly available information to accomplish assignments. Demonstrate proficiency in a broad range of techniques and methods for information technology, and mobility engineeringResponsibilities:
Assists in the development and implementation of Endpoint Mobility strategies
Designs, tests, implements, and delivers technical mobility projects, such as Internet of Things (IoT) integration, mobile application signing and deployments, and next generation technologies
Ability to identify areas where mobility gaps exist, recommend and implement supportable solutions, such as Kiosk device needs, unique mobile app situations
Advanced familiarity with mobile technologies, including app deployments, and the Apple and Google play stores
Ability to use and configure MDM, MaaM, TEM, and other technologies, including integrating and information exchange
Utilize Active Directory and AD groups, attributes, and other identifiers to manage users, devices, apps, app deployments, and security restrictions
Utilize mobile labels, tags, filters, and other management identifiers to create and implement next generation mobility integration- and migration-ready infrastructure
Understand networks, and network transport, and how they work together to create secure enterprise mobile communication
Coordinate with other regional BTS partners to address changing, and advancing mobile technical needs in EMEA and JAPAC regions
Identify technical and process issues, recommend and works to implement improvements
Collaborate with Mobility Operations, the AbbVie Service Desk and ICC for escalated and Major Incidents
Perform incident triage between Mobility Operations, Engineering and Enterprise Architecture
Act as the SME on behalf of BTS Mobility, coordinate with other BTS service providers, to develop and implement action plans for new IoT and mobile technologies
Coordinate with other Infrastructure teams to bring problems to resolution
Publish KB articles for known errors and "shift left" opportunities
Perform Knowledge record maintenance activities and recertification
Bachelor’s Degree with 7+ years of equivalent experience
Direct and advanced understanding of the AbbVie mobility, desktop, and support processes
A working understanding of Cellular, Wi-Fi, NFC and Bluetooth technologies
Excellent customer service, written and oral English communication skills
Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate Policies and procedures

Significant Work Activities and Conditions: Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day)
