My Healthcare client is acgively seeking a

Sr. Business Systems Analyst/Scrum Master to help lead enterpisewide agile initiatives based out of their Northfield headquarters.

This position is currently remote but will be going onsite 3 days a week in Northfield at a later determined date.

Summary

This individual will be responsible for requirements gathering, discovery, performing gap and data analysis in an Agile environment and will function as a key resource for our business.

Responsibilities for the Sr. Business Systems Analyst/Scrum Master

  • Supports requirements gathering and discovery workshops with our business stakeholders.
  • Conducts current state assessments of business processes and supporting systems
  • Performs gap and data analysis in support of identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Supports Technical Leads and developers by providing functional clarification and setting expectations with team and business.
  • Documents, socializes, and triages issues, defects, and enhancement requests.
  • Elicit and documents requirements, creates logical system specifications and/or wireframes, change requests, test cases, user guides, training materials and strategy roadmaps.
  • Create process/data flows to create a visual representation of requirements
  • Executes test cases and ensure overall quality of solution is a plus.
  • Independently identify, research, and resolve open design questions, Provide functional support for production systems
  • Creating user stories for the sprint, also helps the Business Team with UAT testing of the stories
  • Participate with Product Owner and Product Grooming processes.
  • Own & facilitate the team's Scrum ceremonies, i.e. Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective, Backlog grooming.
  • Liaise with the Product Owner and the Business Analysts in order to ensure completeness and clarity of user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Guiding the team on how to get the most of out of self-organization, coaching the team on the Agile Scrum methodology in order to constantly improve the Scrum team's standards of work.
  • Managing relationships and communicating with the project sponsor, senior management and other project contributors
  • Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information
  • Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive those from idea to implementation.

Requirements for the Business Systems Analyst/Scrum Master

  • Bachelor's degree related to Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or Information Technology from an accredited university
  • Minimum 8+ years of total experience or more years of experience related to Business Analyst or Technical Analyst & Scrum Master within an IT technology environment
  • 4+ years as a scrum practitioner on scrum teams, and 6+ years as a Business Analyst for agile teams (using Jira, Confluence).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
  • Technical understanding of complex Enterprise Web and legacy application development and deployment concepts
  • Experience in an Agile Environment (using Jira, Confluence), ability to solve identify problems and appropriately escalate issues by engaging right help
  • Experience in handling the backend workflow based systems (web and integration applications)
  • Excellent computer skills and proficient in Visio, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Experience in working onshore-offshore model/Global teams.
