A dynamic organization with a growing team is looking for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk. The job site for the full-time Accounts Payable Clerk is in the Oakbrook, Illinois area. For immediate consideration please email huma.razvi@roberthalf.c0m Your responsibilities in this role Manage validating, recording, and mailing checks and expedite special handling
Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative tasks
Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents
Produce full-cycle A/P
Open, sort, and distribute daily department mail
Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with company policies
Provide internal and external audit assistance as required
Handle the customer service needs of internal business partners
Carry out additional tasks as assigned Requirements - Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
Strong familiarity with Check Runs
Command of Microsoft Excel
Accounts Payable (AP) experience
Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
3+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred
