As a Lead Cloud Engineer, will be responsible for the implementation and operations of organization’s Enterprise IaaS Infrastructure in Microsoft Azure. The candidate will implement IT solutions and services with a focus on infrastructure, networking, and security in a Microsoft Azure cloud environment. This role will lead and manage the relationships and operational integration of third-party managed / Application services, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) providers and Cloud vendors. Additionally, this role will partner closely with the IT Business Relationship Management and Cyber Security organization and other IT stakeholders to ensure that organization maximizes the SAP / Application investments to integrate efficiently and consistently with the broader hybrid solutions ecosystem.

This is a direct hire/full time role located in Oakbrook, IL.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s in Information Systems or related experience.
  • Azure Platform or Microsoft Engineer (Certifications or experience) (Azure CLI, PaaS/SaaS/IaaS).
  • OS: Linux (Red Hat Enterprise Linux), Windows Server experience required.
  • Architecture Concepts: Understanding of High availability and Disaster Recovery.
  • Network Concepts: Knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, firewalling - HTTP, DNS, SMTP, IPSEC.
  • Cloud Backup Concepts: backup/data retention techniques.
  • 3+ years of experience in cloud, compute, storage enterprise environments.
  • Azure experience working with virtual networks, virtual machines, storage, Azure ExpressRoute, common PaaS services such as Azure SQL DB, etc.
  • Experience administering a packaged application; user administration and application interface administration.
  • Experience in analyzing requirements, designing, documenting and prioritizing enhancements.
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams.
  • The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment.
  • A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required.
  • Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
  • Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude.
