Job Responsibilities:
  • This role is responsible for the design, implementation, and support of the VMware infrastructure for the client’s corporate campus and field locations around the country. This role should define, maintain, communicate, and implement standards consistent with established architecture and strategy.
  • Maintains Active Directory Infrastructure, server platform, server-based application, storage administration, backup, and various projects.
  • The administrator should be proficient in designing, layout, and support client server SAP and legacy applications.
  • This role should be able to work in a team environment, document requirements, and develop solutions to meet the needs of the development team.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s in Information Systems or equivalent required.
  • Experience in Cisco, Storage Solution, or similar technologies
  • 10+ year experience with Intel Administration; 2+ in SAP, Cisco or EMC/Pure support is a plus
  • Advanced experience and administration with MS Windows Server 2016/2019
  • Advanced experience and administration with Linux.
  • Familiar with Systems Management Server (SMS) and Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) or other automated patch management applications
  • Experience with Cisco networking hardware and troubleshooting (routers, switches, firewalls)

Knowledge Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to perform full-lifecycle implementations of Microsoft solutions (minimum 1-2 previously performed)
  • Working knowledge of desktop and laptop operating systems, remote connectivity, and general application deployment; working knowledge of wide-area and local-area networking; working knowledge of Telecommunications systems and equipment; Agile and/or Waterfall project management practices
  • Working knowledge of security and regulations compliance, disaster recovery strategies
  • Ability to understand the customer's business environment, effectively analyze problems and provide timely customer appropriate solutions; ability to effectively communicate and document issues and resolutions
  • Ability to demonstrate a solid background and proven track record in end-user technology services, inventory & license procurement, and management in a medium to large scale enterprise environment
  • Working knowledge of management skills and ability to train and direct staff activities and prioritize work items; organize office procedures and maintain accurate records; write user documentation and manuals in comprehensible terms; define, verbalize, and train others on troubleshooting strategies
  • Ability to design and layout a clustered server for SAP Optimization
  • Able to build and organize a team, define shared goals, define and execute development plans, and manage the full recruit-to-retire lifecycle for direct reports.

Preferred Job Requirements:
  • MCITP or other Microsoft certifications are highly preferred
  • Experience with SharePoint and SQL Administration
  • Computer experience and technology experience (Hardware)
  • Ability to negotiate and persuade vendors (Not working with contracts)

Job Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate the review and remediation of security vulnerability scan assessment results, patching, and remediation activities related to servers, storage, databases, appliances, web applications.
  • Collaborate on Information Security policies, standards, and baselines and contribute efforts to measure compliance.
  • Collaborate on and provide vulnerability management results and metrics for consistent reporting for governance purposes; collaborate and coordinate remediation plans and activities.
  • Analyze assessment results and threat feeds to properly react to security weaknesses or vulnerabilities.
  • Configure and maintain windows environments with GPOs, and PowerShell scripts.
  • Advanced knowledge of network concepts & protocols required.
  • Proficiency in security best practices, tools, and platforms (firewalls, anti-virus, advanced threat protection, system hardening, etc.).
  • 5+ years Scripting and automation of manual processes. Auditing of existing scripts to make them more optimized and improved.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell required; demonstrated experience in scripting & automation.
  • Software management including repackaging, scripted installations, and deployment with PowerShell.
  • Leading technical training, both one-on-one and in group session.
  • Participate in the review and recommendation of systems infrastructure enhancements
  • Lead the design and implementation of special projects including Storage upgrade, Email Continuity review, Disaster Recovery refresh, Active Directory audit, Server consolidation, and more
  • Serve as escalation point for Service Operations team for internal customers
  • Perform or participate in root cause analysis of escalated service requests or outages
  • Mentor and develop other team members
  • Lead projects involving strategy and implementation support related to information technology operations, business processes, security, and data integrity for the applications
  • Lead support teams with skills and knowledge to address operational support needs
  • Leverage knowledge and experience to deliver end-to-end solutions on Microsoft Platforms which includes architecting technical implementation, organizing and prioritizing development efforts, interfacing with vendors and management, and coordinating effort with both internal and client technical teams
  • Partner and collaborate with the IT Leadership Team members in the development and alignment of short- and long-term strategies, standards, methods, policies, and procedures to support the business
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts with software, hardware and services providers
  • Lead a team of technical resources that provides support, maintenance, and implementation of new functionality within Microsoft portfolio. Foster an environment of collaboration, partnership, customer focus, quality, excellence, urgency, accountability, continuous improvement, and ethical behavior in line with company values. Define, monitor, and hold team accountable to metrics related to system uptime, quality, and delivery
