Job Description
I T Operations Tech Location Oak Brook Duration: 4 month contract for hire 2nd Shift 3:45-12:15 As the Operations Technician I you will perform all Operations tasks; such as schedule and monitor jobs, program moves, monitor Network connectivity and alerts and print reports. Operations team handles running jobs on all platforms (AIX, AS400, WINDOWS, INFORMATICA etc.) and monitor alerts for Network, Applications and Equipment. Responsibility: Schedule and monitor jobs in QA and Production Perform program moves Execute standard system changes Assign Firecall ids Monitor alerts for Network, Applications and Equipment Perform 4G testing for 14 Retail Support Centers Open Incident Management tickets and escalate to appropriate teams Troubleshoot issues where possible Serve as liaison between Engineering groups and business units Setup and monitor Backups on all platforms and perform Tape Management Functions Print Statements, Bintags and other reports Experience: Certificate related to the Computer Science or related field (Associate's degree OK) Working Knowledge of AS400, SAP and IWA scheduling package Experience with Aldon and Informatica moves is a plus Experience with Messenger Plus, SolarWindsVacancy expired!
