Job Description
As a Sr Product Specialist, you will help identify new growth opportunities in existing and new business channels by understanding the competitive market and individual customer go to market business strategy and merchandising model.
Other areas of responsibility will include:
- All facets of product life-cycle management : Pricing, forecasting, application data, and packaging
- Develop P&L scenarios for customer growth opportunities, product launches, and present analysis and recommendations to Sr. Management for alignment.
- Project Management: Lead cross functional teams to successfully launch new customers/products, working closely with Sales, Controlling, Demand planning, Communications, and Category Management.
- Support Trade Marketing in the development and execution of promotions, marketing materials, and customer presentations through expert knowledge of product, branding, and portfolio positioning.
- Conduct and analyze UX consumer product research using primary 3rd party research providers.
- Facillitate key customer product launches.
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Business or Marketing related field required
- 3-5 years of successful experience in Trade Marketing, Product Management, and/or Sales
- Previous automotive industry or consumer packaged goods industry experience preferred.
- Proven ability to define, develop, and communicate/execute strategic marketing plans.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with a strong presentation skill set.
- MS office experience (Excel and Power point)
- Strong analytical and financial/numerical abilities
- Prior P&L experience required.
Must be eligible to work in the US without VISA sponsorship; not eligible for VA/VN assignment.
