Responsible for daily cleaning and sanitizing of patient rooms and all other corresponding unit areas. Will follow prescribed departmental cleaning standards in conjunction with infection control and safety procedures.Knowledge 3 months to 1 year of Environmental Services experience in a hospital organization High School diploma or equivalent (GED)Skills/Abilities Good communication skills Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions Ability to operate heavy cleaning equipment such as floor machines, wet/dry vacuums, scrubbers and burnishes, etc. Ability to bend, twist, reach, pull, climb, push throughout daily work to complete assigned scheduleSchedule: Monday - Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm; 8 hour shifts; Weekend frequency: work every other weekend; 80 hours per pay period.
