Job Description
The
MRI Technologist - PH MRIreflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.Under the general supervision of the Manager, operates MRI equipment to obtain optimum images for MRI procedures. Perform all duties and responsibilities in a manner that is appropriate for the individual and consistent with Palos Imaging, LLC's guiding principles.
This position if full-time, 80 hours per pay period,day shiftwith alternating weekends.This position will assist with staffing needs at both sites: Northwestern Medicine Palos Hospital and Northwestern Medicine Orland Park Palos Imaging.
Qualifications
Must be a graduate of an AMA approved school of radiology technology and must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART) or eligible. If ARRT eligible, must become fully registered within 12 months of employment. Also must be licensed with the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) - Division of Nuclear Safety. MRI Certified preferred. If not MRI certified, must be MRI certified with one year of employment. Must be CPR certified.
