Volt is immediately hiring a Chemist for a local leading organization in Mossville, IL.As a Chemist, you will be supporting the customer’s research and development team on non-metallic parts, including rubber. Specifically, the Chemist will use various instruments and techniques to identify the chemistry of contaminants from various sources. Will meet with the client, sometimes on a repeating basis, to explain results and suggest next stepsChemist candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field.
  • Ability to work closely with client/engineer to help understand context of contaminant identified in system
  • Ability to employ independent research to understand context of contaminant identified in system
  • Previous experience working with oil and manufacturing fluid analysis support, including titration, liquid FTIR, Karl Fischer, particle count, ion chromatography, conductivity, gas chromatography, and pH
  • Excellent work ethic, initiative, and a positive attitude are required.
  • Candidates selected must meet all pre-screening eligibility requirements
