Volt DTS has an opening for a CMM Programmer to work onsite in a contract poistion with our customer in Peoria, IL. The CMM Programmers will support parts quality inspection at several different facilities within the Peoria area. Candidate will review blueprints and technical specifications to establish inspection criteria for production parts. Candidate will develop inspection programs using PC-DMIS software for multiple sizes and configurations of CMM machines including bridge type and horizontal-armCandudate MUST have prior CMM programming aexperince. Ideally looking for 5-7 years of experience developing inspection programs with PC-DMIS. Knowledge of ANSI/ASME/ISO and GD&Y. Working knowledge of Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing techniques preferred. Associate or Bachelor degree in technical related field a plus.
