Job Title: Machine Builder Location: Peoria, IL Duration: Long-Term Contract Qualifications & Mandatory Skills:
- 5 7 years experience in machine building (robotics)
- Automotive domain experience /robotic cell-building/special machine building working with robots / controls
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a robotic/special machine and automation cell construction
- Experience with Fanuc and Universal Robots
- Ability to read fabrication and assembly blueprints
- Provide support to the engineering, manufacturing, logistics, and quality functions within a project scope.
- Lead, Follow, and Train personnel on machine building practices
- Perform work according to company safety practices
- Work without direct supervision on assigned tasks
- Formal Apprenticeship or equivalent experience as a machine builder
- Ability to work with controls engineers and robot programmers
- Ability and Knowledge to work with Manufacturing Engineers for corrections and as built conditions
- Experience with executing variable and attribute Gage R&R's
- Availability to travel to customer sites for machine integrations
- Ability to represent the company to customers and all levels of corporation levels
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Capability to work in teams
- APQP, PPAP experience
