Network Administrator Location: Peoria, Illinois (Onsite) Mode of Interview: Phone + Skype Job Description: The client is looking for a Network Administrator who will be responsible for providing technical expertise associated with analyzing, recommending, implementing, maintaining, and supporting the communication infrastructure for the campus. The network infrastructure includes wired and wireless networks that facilitate data, voice, video, and other media transmission. The roles and responsibilities of the Network Administrator Manager include, but are not limited to:Responding to monitoring alerts, performing troubleshooting to resolve network incidents, and escalating complex issues to leadership. Performing network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, security configurations, and access points. Testing and developing integration of multiple networking hardware and software products and architectures. Performing network security management, including log file review and corrective action, security vulnerability testing, Anti-Virus and Anti-Spam management, and security planning. Providing technical leadership, guidance, training, design, and expertise on escalated issues from IT networking staff. Responding to critical requests for information from CIS Leadership Team during and outside of normal business hours as required. Participating in planning for network upgrades, expansions, or enhancement. In summary, the Network Administrator Manager will be responsible for providing technical expertise and ensuring the smooth functioning of the communication infrastructure for the campus.
