Who we are looking forAs a member of the capacity planning team you will be responsible for collecting and analyzing various sources of system and application data for the purpose of building capacity planning models. The goal is to proactively identify and prevent capacity and performance issues. The team is part of the State Street IT infrastructure group focused on the open system environment: Windows, Linux, and Unix servers. We are based primarily in Eastern Mass but support State Street’s environment globally. Our team uses a SAS ITRM tool as the primary analytics engine for most of the modeling .What you will be responsible forAs Capacity Planning Analyst you will be responsible for
Maintaining existing capacity models
Reviewing and validating output
Processing output and recommending corrective action for identified issues
Developing new models to support growing requirements
Working with team to develop recommendations in support of major projects like life cycle and office relocation
