Job Descriptions:The Senior Human Resources Generalist is responsible for administering human resources policies, procedures and programs. The HR Generalist carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: performance management, employee relations, recruitment and retention, onboarding, HRIS maintenance, employment law compliance, affirmative action and policy implementation. Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Administers various human resources plans and procedures for all organization personnel; development and implementation of policies and procedures.

Monitors the performance evaluation program and revises as necessary; conducts performance management training for internal employees.

Maintains affirmative action program and compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations; provides metrics and data as needed.

Oversees new hire onboarding process.

Conducts recruitment effort for exempt and nonexempt personnel.

Handles employee relations counseling and exit interviewing.

Maintains human resource information system and applicant tracking records and compiles reports from the databases.

Active involvement in internal firm committees.

Required Experience:

A bachelor's degree and at least five years of HR experience, or seven years of experience in the HR field.

Experience in the administration of various Human Resources programs.

Experience maintaining HRIS and applicant tracking systems.

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

General knowledge of employment laws and practices and understanding HR best practices.

Demonstrated experience of implementing and improving processes.

Effective oral and written communication.

Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.

Customer-focused attitude with a high level of professionalism and discretion.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Sound judgement and problem-solving skills.

Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with senior leadership.

Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high volume environment.

SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification or Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.
