TITLE: LEAD CISCO ACI CONSULTANT
Location: Remote (CST or EST) Compensation Range : $80 - $100/h depending on experience An established and growing insurance organization is seeking an experienced Lead Cisco ACI Consultant to join their team. As the Lead Cisco ACI Consultant, you will lead a small team responsible for the national network, data center, multiple field offices as well as future state planning for the organization. . The ideal candidate will have progressive technical experience with hands-on Cisco ACI engineering and people/project leader. Excellent communication skills are required. - Modernization of 275 field offices moving to new SD-WAN Internet and Voice Manage
- Influence vendor program manager and team responsible for upgrades
- Future state planning for new office as it relates to networking
- Research and understand trends in information technology and various physical-property technologies
- Introduce ideas, technology, and methods contributing to the company's strategic vision.
- Oversee and direct staff in the efficient management of networks
- Oversee and manage staff responsible for implementing multiple concurrent community and building technology projects.
- Regularly interface with Executives.
- College degree preferred
- 7+ years of experience in a Network Engineering role with increasing levels of responsibility preferred.
- 2+ years experience working with Cisco ACI and ideally participated in a rollout of Cisco ACI
- Previous experience with data centers and/or office moves, upgrades, build-outs, etc.
- Enterprise-level data center experience.
- Vendor management experience.
- Multi-site experience. (250+ sites).
- Possesses a combination of subject matter expertise and leadership skills.
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to navigate competing and changing priorities
- Strong interpersonal and people management skills required
- Knowledgeable of current available technology solutions and proficient in Microsoft applications.
- Excellent written and verbal skills required
