Drupal developer for the Content Management Systems Center of Excellence (CMS COE). The project scope is migrating the CMS systems from the current Adobe AEM platform over to a de-coupled Drupal based platform allowing for re-usable CMS components for onboarding various tenants.
Decoupled Drupal with Azure Solid understanding of headless/decoupled web-based development/Component based development Have experience writing custom services, plug-ins using symfony components / subscribers. Experience with high performance Drupal is helpful. Experience with Redis, and how it works with Drupal and Azure. Experience serving Drupal in a read only environment. Someone who understands the concepts. Must have strong Drupal 8 or 9 experience Cloud environment experience is important. Experience writing automated tests / unit testing would be helpful since the team will start doing this soon. Engineer/Architect mindset would be ideal, but you usually encounter this in more seasoned, senior level developers. Since this role is not necessarily calling for a senior level resource, it's okay for them to be a mid-level developer. Support for (greenfield) Mobile team products involving Drupal. The technology supporting this mobile development is React Native open-source mobile application framework. This is focused on back-end work involving APIs for application content. It was mentioned that APIs need to be established in delivering Rest based JSON services - the data exchange that will be used to support various services. Experience in working with RESTful API/Web Service integration is required. The team will also be involved in developing branded mobile app strategies - values, colors, logo, visual identity etc. (Won't directly be doing the UX/front-end side of the solution.) Candidates MUST have strong communications skills, with the ability to interact with multiple business channels, leaders and stakeholders - Consultant mind-set. CMS COE is establishing a team that will centralize Drupal support for many supported teams. CMS COE will create APIs that supported teams will leverage. (Supported teams would then have their own Drupal resources implement these APIs into their own projects.) 3-5 years of hands-on experience in enterprise Drupal development - prefer candidates with a minimum of 2 Drupal 8 production builds. This will be a very tactical role - Having 80%+ focus on pure development. Experience with modern implementation of Content as a service consumption (CaaS) frameworks. Strong experience in integrating with third party systems/tools. Experience in working with RESTful API/Web Service integration. Preferred experience with OpenSouce database technologies such as PostgreSQL. Strong interpersonal communication skills, as well as direct client facing experience is requiredVacancy expired!
