York is hiring! Currently seeking a Manager of Mobile Development to manage a mobile development team of 7 onshore software developers and collaborate with a team of 15 offshore resources that are working on creating a mobile single source of truth data platform. The ideal candidate will be a developer who grew into a manager role and can still be 50% hands-on, and 50% solutioning / strategy / design. This position can sit onsite with the team in Schaumburg, IL or work 100% remotely.
Primary Responsibilities:Review code and design on various aspects like extensibility, scalability, security, design patterns, etc. and ensure that all relevant best practices are followedCollaborate with stakeholders, business, Partner Solution Architects, and Technical Architects to ensure that the Solution is accurate to deliver outcomes to the client and reliable from a technology perspectiveUnderstand and communicate new product and solution requirements back to the solution development and management teamLead others toward technical accomplishment, collaborative project team efforts and achievement of important project goalsIndependent communication with business partners to resolve design issues and negotiate project related items such as priorities and completion deadlinesEnhance existing products as well as create new offerings utilizing the latest technologyBuild and lead a product development team to deliver projects that meet business objectives and solve critical user problemsCollaborate closely with key leaders to develop strategic projects, plans and processes, streamline decision-making, and develop and manage an engineering teamAct as a technical leader in internal teams including managing code reviews, post project analysis and clearly articulating throughout the duration of projects what is important to the projects success and focuses on the critical few and priorities to improveProvide leadership for planning, recruiting and managing part of a world class technology, product development and application engineering team delivering a world class enterprise solutions portfolio and offering enabling servicesDrive results through proactively collaborating across organizational boundaries, and ensures end- to-end execution that most effectively delivers for the right stakeholdersManage and accountable for professional employees and/or supervisorsRequired Qualifications:Bachelors Degree from recognized university12 15 years with Experience in Mobile Technologies (iOS / Android / React Native) preferred.Strong Knowledge of End to End SDLC process and post production support.Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a global team with a positive team spiritUnderstanding of Micro Service Architecture, build and deployment using Jenkins / CICD toolsHands-on in designing software solutions and architectureHands-on in using design patternsVacancy expired!
