Job Description: As a Solutions Architect, you will work with product teams and engineering leads for large distributed teams to define and understand business requirements to develop technical road maps. You will help to define and implement best practices surrounding application architecture, patterns, security, and technology keeping in mind current and future strategy and requirements. With a clear understanding of, and approach for, business features, you will work with the team's technical leads, the product team, and the engineering lead to translate and groom features into engineering stories. Fulfilling all assigned tasks and responsibilities effectively and professionally in accordance with company, team, and customer expectations, you will serve a key role in long-term success for the team, product, and company. Communication and organization skills are a must while working in this SAFe Agile environment as requirements, implementation strategies, and delivery of features must be performed on schedule with a keen eye on balancing delivery, dependencies, refactoring, and technical debt.

Responsibilities: In partnership with Product Management and Engineering Leads, clarify that all business requirements are defined to support the development and delivery of features Grow and maintain strong understanding of relevant technologies; contribute as an inspiring leader in driving innovation, bringing together roadmaps and driving business commitments Collaborate with Engineering Leads, Product Management, and Software Engineers to clearly define requirements, understand priorities, and establish scope Participate in grooming sessions involving the separation and translation of business features into engineering units of work with consideration of team size and sprint and PI timeframes Responsible for defining and communicating a shared technical, data and architectural vision for the Agile Scrum Team Understanding the current and future business requirements, plan and develop the architectural roadmap with consideration of immediate needs and technical debt Provide architectural and technical strategies and road maps to enable teams to meet their committed deliverables Validation of architectural implementation and function within features prior to feature release Highlight risks across functional teams and provide recommendations to support product level decisions Tackle complex and ambiguous problems that span numerous systems and segments of the organization Prioritize and maximize productivity in a constantly changing environment of shifting priorities

The qualified candidate will have: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience 5-8 years' experience in highly technical roles covering: data design/architecture, security design/architecture, software engineering 3+ years' experience of Cloud Engineering / Architecture Proficient in practices such as Domain Driven Design, DevOps, Microservices and API-first design Experience developing solutions with test driven development and continuous integration practices; establishing monitoring tools and automation processes Experience working with modern engineering tools, languages and practices Experience working with modern source code control technologies like Git Demonstrated critical thinking, ownership mindset, and continuous learning Proficient in agile processes, tools, delivery models, and software engineering & release practices Excellent decision-making capabilities Excellent organization, and team collaboration skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to communicate a shared vision to multiple audiences Excellent facilitation, collaboration, negotiation, and presentation skills; comfort with ambiguity, frequent change, or unpredictability Excellent analytical skills Proven experience working with cross functional teams

The ideal candidate will have: Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Experience with service-oriented architectures and microservices Experience with Message brokers such as Kafka, Azure Service Bus Proven experience working with cross-regional teams Strong experience in developing accessible front end applications with Angular or React Strong experience in Data Ingestion and Integration Deep experience with high volume distributed event data processing Ability to apply design theory and methodology. RESTful/GraphQL API Design Experience with Docker and Kubernetes containers Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Platform and its technologies (and limitations) such as ? Azure DevOps CI/CD ?
