Job Description - Principal Software Engineer - REMOTE
Principal Software Engineer We are looking for a passionate Principal Software Engineer. You will build well designed, well-engineered, stable, scalable products across a variety of markets. Your responsibilities will include gathering user requirements, defining system functionality, collaborating on architecture decisions, and writing code in various frameworks but chiefly in C#/.NET.We are looking for experienced Software Engineer who have dealt with complexity and large code bases, and who have developed strategies for tackling them. Developers who understand how to ship code and can make the correct trade-offs between perfection and delivery. We value innovation and are looking for team members who introduce new ideas, technologies and practices.We have invested substantially in our dev ops infrastructure and are using this to push more and more of our stack to the cloud. You will apply DevOps practices in area of continuous and automated deployment. You will analyze and remediate production issues and build instrumentation and operational readiness into the systems architecture.We are open to remote work situations. Qualifications • 10+ years of experience as software engineer, software developer or similar function. C# or Java background preferred. • Experience working with large software systems. • Experience with professional software build, test and deploy practices. • A strong grounding in SQL and databases. • An understanding of how to architect large server-side systems. • An understanding of what makes software supportable, scalable and attractive to users. • Good communication skills. • Good organization skills. • An ownership mindset. Nice to have • Experience with no-SQL Database. • Good understanding of portfolio accounting • Knowledge of financial markets and financial products • Desire to work in a fast-paced team environment • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.Vacancy expired!
