Job Description TITLE: Principal Application ArchitectDUTIES: DFS Corporate Services LLC seeks Principal Application Architect in Riverwoods, IL to communicate with staff and clients to understand specific system requirements. Provide advice on project costs, designs, concepts, and changes. Document design specifications, installation instructions, and other system information. Verify stability, inter-operability, portability, security, and scalability of system architecture. Collaborate with technology teams to select appropriate design solutions and ensure the compatibility of system components. Promote a risk-aware culture to ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes.REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field and eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or related occupation: performing Agile software development, including product orientation principles, agile at scale methodology, principles of continuous flow of value delivery and emergent design, and organizing projects and teams; architecting, designing, and building software applications that follow architecture principles, including 20 factor, SOLID, Design First, Non-Functional requirements, and Microservices; and utilizing applications and technologies used in banking systems, including Java, databases, SQL, ETL, Finacle, CICD, automation tools, and Devops concepts.
