Job Description TITLE: Senior Data EngineerDUTIES: Pulse Network LLC seeks Senior Data Engineer in Riverwoods, IL to apply a hands-on approach with next generation technologies to contribute to the team by designing and developing the latest data driven platforms and next generation analytic technologies. Design and develop data ingestion frameworks, real time processing solutions, and data processing/transformation frameworks leveraging open source tools. Deploy application code and analytical models using CI/CD tools and techniques and provide support for deployed data applications and analytical models. Provide senior level technical consulting to peer data engineers during design and development for highly complex and critical data projects. Promote a risk-aware culture to ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes.REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation: providing business analysis to develop ETL code to meet all technical specifications; analyzing and following the product development process (PDP) to develop, deploy, and deliver solutions; providing Subject Matter Expertise in analysis and preparation of specifications and plans for development/modification of processes; performing data warehouse design and definition to support business operations and analytics using Teradata; designing and developing data ingestion frameworks, real time processing solutions, and data processing/transformation frameworks leveraging open source tools; providing senior level technical consulting to peer data engineers during design and development for highly complex and critical data projects; and utilizing Ab-Initio GDE, Ab-Initio Co-Operating System, Technical Repository Management Console (TRMC), Teradata, Teradata SQL assistant, Unix, AWS, EC2, Lambda, and Snowflake.
