The role is focused on the global company and you will be working within the high performance WPT: End User Computing team consisting of 10 direct colleagues. In this role you will be expected to work within a Matrix based organization and have strong collaboration and communication skills.You will have the opportunity to contribute to key strategic initiatives to bring innovation and improvements of workplace services, innovate our security controls and standards, integration of acquisitions and participate in our Modern Workplace developments.Within this context, you will take accountability for the delivery of solutions against a predefined scope of work within these programs.Work activities as part of this role will consist of working in a team to develop and mature workplace services and coordinating, executing operational activities as well as supporting projects and initiatives to ensure our workplace services and devices are up to date and compliant. These activities are expected to be organized and executed with a strong consideration for an optimal user experience.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Strategy and Architecture:

Contributes to the development of policies, standards and guidelines for IT strategy development and planning.

Specifies and applies appropriate analytical techniques to create information which supports business decision-making. Formats and communicates results, using textual, numeric, graphical and other visualization methods appropriate to the target audience.

Seeks to fully address client needs by ensuring that proposed solutions are properly understood and appropriately exploited.

Actively monitors for, and seeks, opportunities, new methods, trends, capabilities and products to the advancement of the organization.

Development and implementation:

Supports with design and delivery of large or complex Workplace services using design standards, methods and tools, consistent with agreed enterprise and solution architectures and ensures they are applied effectively.

Provides technology support to WK GBS IT operational teams and businesses

Reviews others' service designs to ensure selection of appropriate technology, efficient use of resources, and integration of multiple systems and technology.

Provides specialist guidance information to support, systems testing and quality assurance functions to assist in improving procedures.

Relationships & Engagement:

Researches suppliers and markets, and maintains a broad understanding of the commercial environment, to inform and develop commercial strategies and sourcing plans.

Communicates with stakeholders at multiple levels, ensuring that Workplace policy and strategies are adhered to. Provides informed feedback to assess and promote understanding.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in relevant field (e.g. Information Systems Management) or equivalent experience

Recent Microsoft certification (preferably on Workplace technology, e.g. Intune)

BigFix certification

Amazon certification

5+ years of overall experience with Information Technology in a matrixed environment

3+ years of work experience in a similar role

Deep subject matter expert technology skills in:

Workplace technical services and architectures

BigFix infrastructure management, patching, O/S upgrades and software distribution

Compliance reporting

Excellent English communication and presentation skills

Solution documentation and presentations

Driving conference meetings

Facilitating workshops (requirement gathering, solution development, provide training, etc.)

Status reporting

Technology skills on:

Patching of workstations and servers

Software packaging development and distribution

Windows and Office upgrades

(Azure) Active Directory

Azure Conditional Access

Compliance and policy enforcement through AD/Intune

Virtual Desktop (VDI) solutions

DNS and Networking – within the relevant scope of workplace

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

Domestic and international travel is expected to be required on a regular basis, the amount will vary but is expected to be lower than 15% on an annual basis.
