DUTIES: DFS Corporate Services LLC seeks Lead Data Governance Consultant in Riverwoods, IL to design, develop, implement, and sustain long-term enterprise data management and governance programs. Responsible for the design, development, coding, and implementation of data quality, data stewardship, metadata management, and sensitive data management applications. Develop and code solutions for metadata management, data quality, sensitive data management and data steward activities. Design solutions for metadata management, data quality, sensitive data management and data steward activities. Implement some improvements in architecture, team processes and functions. Porotype reporting products by working with the Senior Systems analysts to build connections, develop reports, and publish data to the development and production servers. Lead initiatives and identify opportunities using data analysis techniques, graphic design and programming expertise to visually deliver value centric visualizations. Set goals, prioritize, and manage across complex work streams, and drive progress proactively and independently. Promote a risk-aware culture to ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes.

REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation: gathering, structuring, and analyzing data from multiple data sources; presenting results of data analyses and recommendations to management and process owners; partnering with business to identify appropriate data sources and analysis methodology to meet business needs; implementing automation to dashboards; utilizing Tableau and other reporting tools, including Business Objects, Microsoft Power BI, Microstrategy, DOMO, Platfora, Adobe Site Catalyst, and Google Big Query to incorporate best of trade functionality into existing reports; preparing executive level summary and presenting recommendations to senior leadership; driving technical requirements with business and IT stakeholders for implementation of data solutions; delivering in an Agile environment, including definition, estimation, prioritization, developing, testing, and development of Agile features/stories/tasks; recommending technical, automated solutions for manual processes; and performing data modeling to connect underlying data tables to usage in reports.
