Job Description TITLE: Lead Software DeveloperDUTIES: DFS Corporate Services LLC seeks Lead Software Developer in Riverwoods, IL to deliver technology solutions that support business goals. Partner with the product owners to understand business requirements, evaluate features, and translate application specifications into workable technical solutions. Maintain application software and systems. Ensure all projects and releases are appropriately tested and risks are mitigated. Oversee and review development activities of team members and contractors. Support technical initiatives and provide input into best practices to team. Analyze, modify, and support application software. Ensure quality code is delivered through continuous integration, development, and testing. Perform technical design, coding with test automation, support, and documentation of software application modifications. Promote a risk-aware culture to ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes.REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or related occupation: utilizing Java programming language; utilizing cloud technologies, including Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF); working with the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CICD) pipeline; performing secure coding practices and developing vulnerability solutions; performing software development methodologies, including Test Driven Development (TDD) and Secure Coding practices; utilizing application monitoring tools, including AppDynamics and Kibana/CLS; performing Canary and Blue/Green deployment methodologies; utilizing Backend End technologies, including Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring Security, JPA / Hibernate, JDBC, Spring Caching, Junits, Mockito, Restful services, SOAP Services, and Thread / parallel processing techniques, Front End technologies, including React, Redux, Jquery, HTML, CSS, Jest, Mockservice worker, and Axios, databases and tools, including SQL, Oracle, Amazon RDS - Maria DB, and DB2, as well as various testing, performance, quality, and application tools and savers, including Jenkins, Selenium, Cucumber, Jmeter, Sonar, Checkstyle, ESLint, Apache Tomcat, Webshphere, SOAP UI, Postman, WinSCP, and Putty.QUALIFIED APPLICANTS: Please apply directly through our website by clicking on "Apply Now."
