Job Description TITLE : Lead Software DeveloperDUTIES: DFS Corporate Services LLC seeks Lead Software Developer in Riverwoods, IL to be responsible for analyzing, modifying, and supporting application software. Ensures quality code is delivered through continuous integration, development, and testing. Performs technical design, coding with test automation, support, and documentation of software application modifications. Deliver technology solutions that support business goals. Partner with the product owner to understand business requirements, evaluate features, and translate application specifications into workable technical solutions. Maintain application software and systems. Ensure all projects and releases are appropriately tested and risks are mitigated. Oversee and review development activities of team members and contractors. Support technical initiatives and provide input into best practices to team. Promote a risk-aware culture to ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes.REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or related occupation: utilizing Java, Angular, React, Redux, Java Script, Spring, Spring Boot Microservices, Spring Cloud, Restful web services, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JSON, Rest APIs, and Oracle SQL to develop applications; utilizing tools in Microservices cloud architecture applications using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud config, Netflix OSS components (Zuul API Gateway and Hystrix), Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Rabbit MQ, and Restful Web Services; finalizing the technical architecture for applications, including analysis, design, development and maintenance; working with business product owners and stakeholders to understand product requirements to provide recommendations and technology solution reviews; participating in agile Scrum meetings and carrying out sprint work in multiple iterations, demonstrating the progress to business stakeholders; utilizing cloud platforms, including Openshift; and performing Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery using CI/CD tools for development and deployment of projects in order to meet market requirements.QUALIFIED APPLICANTS: Please apply directly through our website by clicking on "Apply Now."
