Job Description TITLE: Lead Software Engineer - Full StackDUTIES: DFS Corporate Services LLC seeks Lead Software Engineer - Full Stack in Riverwoods, IL to develop and maintain complex frontends with a focus on user experience. Develop and maintain backend systems. Work with key stakeholders to design complex solutions and lead from inception to production. Create and maintain devops processes, application infrastructure, and utilize cloud services (including database systems and models). Innovate on and advocate for best practices and improved team processes. Mentor junior team members. Support live systems to ensure business continuity. Promote a risk-aware culture to ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes.REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and a six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or related occupation: designing and setting up distributed Big Data analytics platform using Linux servers, Hadoop, MySQL, MongoDB, Sqoop, Hive, Phoenix, Kafka, NiFi, Spark, Amazon Web Services (AWS) S3, and Solr; utilizing AWS cloud services, including AWS System Operations; implementing enterprise security solutions on Big Data platforms using Active Directory, Vault, SSO, Kerberos, Knox, Ranger, IAM, Imperva, CyberArk, and Protegrity; using Ansible and Terraform for Infrastructure As Code (IaC) to build Hadoop clusters; utilizing Python, Shell scripting, and SQL to automate manual operations and building custom tools for monitoring Big Data platforms; and using GitHub, Jenkins, and Ansible to build CI/CD pipelines.
