Job Description TITLE: Lead Software EngineerDUTIES: DFS Corporate Services LLC seeks Lead Software Engineer in Riverwoods, IL to design, develop, and implement software solutions that meet business needs. Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware, upgrade interfaces, and improve performance. Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures. Lead software programming and the development of technical documentation. Consult with the business on project status, proposals, technical issues, software design, and maintenance. Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan installations of a new systems and modifications to existing systems. Promote a risk-aware culture to ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes.REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Mathematics, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation: developing, releasing or building engineering work with DevOps methodology; working with programming languages, including Java and scripting such as Python; working with Docker and Kubernetes; working with Jenkins, GitHub, Nexus, and SonarQube; building Declarative Style Pipeline as code for various application types; providing technical direction in designing and implementing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes in the form of Jenkins pipelines for the delivery of software across the enterprise; managing the high availability of applications by writing scripts to send alerts when an application goes down; and upgrading CI tools regularly for new features, better performance, and security.QUALIFIED APPLICANTS: Please apply directly through our website by clicking on "Apply Now."
