Job Description TITLE: Senior Software Engineer - Full StackDUTIES: DFS Corporate Services LLC seeks Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack in Riverwoods, IL to develop and maintain full stack solutions to fit business needs. Full stack solutions require one or more of the following: front-end (user interfaces), back-end (APIs), database and DevOps development. Work directly with business partners to understand business requirements. Work independently or with own team to innovate on and enhance development practices and processes. Develop and maintain complex front-ends with a focus on user experience. Develop and maintains backend systems. Work directly with business partners to understand requirements and outline solutions. Work with the engineering team to innovate on and enhance their development practices and processes. Support live systems to ensure business continuity. Create and maintain DevOps processes, application infrastructure, and utilize cloud services (including database systems and models/schemas). Promote a risk-aware culture to ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes.REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Information Systems, Electronic Engineering, or a related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation: developing scalable data pipelines and building out API integrations to support continuing increases in data volume and complexity; verifying the stability, interoperability, portability, security and scalability of system architecture; implementing processes and systems to manage metadata, monitor data quality, and ensure production data accuracy and availability for key stakeholders and business processes; utilizing database technology, including Redshift, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, No-SQL, and Graph DB; working with data visualization technology, including Tableau and Tableau Prep; designing data integrations and data quality frameworks; utilizing Amazon Web Services (AWS) technologies, including S3, lambda, EC2, ECS, EMR, RDS, REDSHIFT, EBS, and CFT; utilizing spark, sparkSQL, and HiveQL jobs to populate data models; and working with programming technologies, including Jenkins, Python, Spark, Scala, Unix Shell scripting, and Kafka.
