Full Time A/R Bookkeeper
No accounting degree required! We just need a smart person who shows up daily from 8am to 4:30pm for 40 hours per week. Overtime is needed sometimes, but not always. Obviously, your math skills need to be on point and we’d like an outgoing, friendly person who doesn’t bring drama to our office. You’d be the main person handling bookwork for accounts receivable by processing invoices and payments into a custom computer program for our business. Inventory data will be entered into the system as well. As you get to know the business, you will learn the skill of fielding phone calls from our amazing customers and scheduling deliveries. A friendly personality and a good attitude and work ethic are important in our office.
We are a small company in the automotive industry and located in Southeast Rockford, Illinois. Employment does not include health insurance because the health insurance market is no longer competitive and most insurance companies folded when the Affordable Healthcare Act was enacted. Unfortunately, we have to refer our employees to the insurance marketplace. We do offer paid time off for major holidays. We also provide vacation and personal days after one year of continuous employment.
