We have a great opportunity for a Customer Service Specialist to join our team. If you would like to work in a dynamic, casual, fun fast-paced environment and have a passion for customer service, join our team! You will be part of our operations team in the media industry. This can be a remote / work from home position with the possibility of an office opening in the Ogle County area (Mount Morris, Byron, Oregon). One week to three weeks of training will be held in our Lincolnshire corporate office.

Position Overview:

Omeda, one of the world's leading providers of media services, is seeking a Customer Service Specialist directly responsible for our client's customer service transactions within the media/magazine publishing space.

Job Responsibilities:

Answer inbound phone calls and emails for subscriber related issues for trade publications

Process appropriate on-line changes and cancellations

Process/Enter paid subscription orders and single copy sales

Prepare labels for missing issues and qualification forms

Enter subscriber notes and tally emails and phone calls in the system

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED

1+ year(s) work experience of basic computer skills including Microsoft Office programs, email and intranet

2+ years previous customer service (call center) experience

Sound knowledge of telephone and writing etiquette with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and professional manner

Able to navigate through computer programs (customer service screen and email)

Self-starter who is responsible, resourceful and adaptable.

Able to listen/read, analyze properly and make logical decisions

Hard worker who is dependable, dedicated and self - motivated.

Strong organizational and attention to detail skills.

Bilingual a plus
