Divisional/Plant Controller

DescriptionOur client, near Loves Park IL, is looking for a Controller with manufacturing/distribution experience.This individual will oversee a team of 5 to 6 accounting staff and work closely with the CFO.Specific Duties:Transactions Overseeing accounts payable and cash applications Month-end close process Maintaining controls Bank reconciliations Debt payments Fixed assets Payroll Cash receipts and credit card transactionsReporting Financial statements issuance Preparation of the corporate annual report Financial and operating metrics Budget variances and reporting significant issues to managementCompliance Coordinating the annual audit with external auditors Complying with local, state and federal reporting requirements and tax filingsThis is an interim-to-full-time opportunity.
