Part-time Custodian needed to provide equipment maintenance, grounds keeping, event set-up and custodial services for Rockford Church. Maintenance includes running the boiler and steam heating system, the air conditioners and performing general electrical and plumbing repairs. Grounds keeping includes keeping church exterior neat including lawn care, shrub maintenance and snow removal. Also responsible for the routine cleaning duties of all interior rooms, ordering custodial supplies and yearly flooring and carpet care. Set-up includes arranging furnishings for meetings, events, weddings and funerals.
Base Hours are Sunday through Thursday 4-5 hours in the morning. Additional hours for projects and occasional weekend events as needed.
High school diploma or GED required.
Industrial experience a plus.
Must be flexible and able to relate and work well with a wide variety of people.
