- Install, configure and maintain operating systems (OS) on web servers, application servers, data base servers residing on physical and virtual platforms. The candidate shall follow established configuration management procedures when performing installations, upgrades and applying patches
- Install and configure Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS) and Government-off-the-Shelf (GOTS) applications used in support of the RA mission. The candidate shall coordinate with the vendor or government customer support personnel to resolve technical issues. The candidate shall follow established configuration management procedures when performing installations and/or upgrades
- Perform steady-state corrective maintenance to restore a failed system to operational status. Corrective maintenance involves replacing or repairing software/hardware components that are responsible for the failure in the system. Corrective maintenance is performed at unpredictable intervals.
- Perform STIG reviews on a quarterly basis to ensure compliance and provide a report of non-compliant STIGS to the Government POC. Apply settings following established configuration management procedures. The candidate shall record the results and maintain non-compliance documentation in a centralized database
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures including DoD STIG requirements
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related work experience (relevant experience - field preferred - and education may be considered in lieu of a degree)
- 3+ years of experience
- Must possess and maintain an IT I level certification IAW AR 25-2 and an IAT II certification IAW DoD 8570.01-M
- Cloud computing/administration experience is a plus
- Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate Certification is a plus
