Last Updated Date:Mar 8, 2020Location:Rolling Meadows, IL, US, 60008Company:Doosan CorpJob InformationThe Engine Parts Distribution Center (PDC) Operations Specialist will support the Engine parts sales and purchasing activities and establishes strategic processes and procedures.Role & Responsibility Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness Maintain consistent and effective communication with the customers as it relates to parts Assist with forecasting engine parts purchasing and sales volume Assist with setting up sales goals and meeting the sales targets Receive and manage purchase orders and confirm Proforma invoices Assist with tracking pending accounts receivable Complete cost and scenario analysis and benchmarking Determine the quantity and timing of deliveries Produce sales reports and statistics as required Assist with annual inventory Expedite customer parts requests Generate quotes and follow-up on sales orders New part set-up and maintenanceJob Requirement Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Korean) preferred Experience with engine components a plus Understanding of financial management processes Ability to effectively handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computerized scanner equipment Strong analytical skills required Strong work ethic and desire to set and attain goals Excellent facilitation and communication skills Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred Travel: 10-20% Experience: 5-7 years sales, purchasing, accounting, warehouse and inventory control experience preferredDoosan is committed to a diverse workforce and is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
