Job Description
- Monitor and enforce Safety policies
- Train and assist, order pickers, checkers and loaders as required
- Assist in development of department performance and productivity standards
- Hands on as needed based on workload and manpower
- Maintain, update start up and end of shift reports
- Attend all department and company meetings as required
- Assist shipping supervisor in directing workflow for department personnel
- Provide input for employee evaluations
- Complete and/or coordinate department projects as assigned
- Maintain good house keeping
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- PIT experience
- Shipping and or Receiving experience
- 1 Year experience in previous supervisory
- SAP Experience
- RF Experience
- 3PL Experience
- Judgement and decision making
- Specific technical knowledge
- Proficient in the use of computers and associated software programs including Microsoft Office and related software.
- Strong organizational and communication skills verbal and written
- Must be detail oriented
- Bi-lingual is a plus but not necessary
- Ability to frequently reach above shoulders, at shoulder height and below shoulders.
- Ability to stand continuously and/or walk frequently.
- Ability to obtain Forklift and/or stock-picker certification.
- Ability to lift 75lbs.
- Monday - Friday, 3p-11:30p $15.75 + $1.00 Shift Differential
