Resource 1 is in need of an SAP BusinessObjects BI Developer for a 6-month contract-for-hire in Romeoville, IL. If local to the Chicagoland area, selected individual will be expected to come onsite 2 days per week after the contract has been converted to perm. If not local, individual can stay remote. Applicant should have at least 5-7 years of experience. Selected individual will be responsible for the design, development and testing of BI applications, data marts and reports using Business Objects Business Intelligence tools: Data Services (ETL), WEBI (reporting) and Information Design Tool (Universes). The majority of data will be coming from LotusNotes applications. Individual should have prior experience using SAP BusinessObjects tools to design and create data warehouses, ETL jobs, universes and reports. Should also possess strong SQL skills and an understanding of relational databases (DB2), data architecture and data normalization. Individual will leverage their knowledge of process design, UI design, application workflow and application performance optimization skills. In addition to new development, individual will respond to production issues as they arise. Must be able to work independently.
