- Gather, structure, and analyze data from multiple complex data sources into actionable business insights using industry standard analytical tools and technologies.
- Work with data to help the organization make better business decisions driven by data.
- Partner with the business to identify the appropriate data sources and analysis methodology to meet business needs.
- Presenting the results of the data analysis, as well as recommendations, to management and process owners.
- Identifying hidden use cases from complex unstructured datasets and come up with useful insights.
- Seeks opportunities to deliver continuous process improvement, automating manual processes and optimizing data delivery
- Pursues self-development and effective relationships with others by sharing resources, information, and knowledge with coworkers and customers.
- 5+ years' experience in data analysis or data quality within complex data environments, preferably in a highly regulated industry.
- At least 5 years of experience in a data quality or data analyst role or similar roles requiring strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with SQL statistical applications, such as SQL and/or SAS.
- Expert level SQL skills and experience working with large data sets.
- Proficient in the manipulation and use of large complex databases.
- Strong understanding of database and data warehouse concepts and structures.
- Strong quantitative skills with a proven ability to translate analysis into meaningful insights.
- Has experience working with Data Warehouse, Data Governance, MDM and BI systems.
- Strong analytical skills related to working with structured and unstructured data sets.
- Experience working on Banking and Financial domain is preferred.
- Passionate about learning new technologies and solving hard problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to work within a team environment and interacting with data professionals and business data SME's throughout the organization
- Desire to work in a fast growing environment with strong time management ability
- Demonstrates strong analytical and problem solving skills.
