DescriptionEnhance your sharp problem solving skills as a Report Developer for a position offered through Robert Half Technology. This position is ideal for an ambitious problem solver who has highly tuned decision-making skills. This long-term temporary-to-full-time opportunity for a Report Developer is in Rosemont, Illinois.Your responsibilities:
Write simple to complex SQL queries
Suggest solutions for database design, tuning options, and other potential issues
Figure out the most effective way to increase performance including hardware purchases, server configuration changes, or index/query changes
Develop SQL reports using SSRS
Fix database service outages as they occur, including after hours and weekends
Requirements
Strong relational database management systems expertise. You can write a query to do almost anything!
Strong familiarity with SQL Reporting
Previous experience with production and on-call environments and other DBA (database administrator) tasks
Experience developing and maintaining documentation
