IT Project Coordinator

Location: Rosemont, IL

Type: Hybrid (Minimum 1 day a month onsite)

Responsibilities:
  • Develop proactive relationships with supported business units that are built on trust, transparent communication, and a spirit of collaboration
  • Monitors the inter-connected and cross-functional resourcing, prioritization, scheduling and delivery in a focused project or business area
  • Forecast IT resource requirements needs based on business units’ pipeline of planned projects
  • Support the outcomes the business line is seeking and develop business requirements and business cases as needed
  • Represent the voice of the customer (business unit) during the technology project life cycles. Ensure IT tasks are meeting committed timelines. Ensure stakeholders remain informed and engaged throughout the projects
  • Partner with business units and teams across IT to remove project roadblocks and accelerate high priority initiatives
  • Work with business analyst, implementation specialist and program management teams in order to meet business targets and established service level agreements (SLAs)

Required Skills:
  • 3-5 years of related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience interacting and communicating with senior leadership and subject matter experts across the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills for all audiences; technical and non-technical.
  • Ability to be creative and think outside of the box to see the whole business picture while maintaining an exceptional eye for detail.
  • Ability to build crucial relationships across all aspects of program management to drive activities with technical and non-technical resources
  • Ability to manage all aspects of external vendors and contractors to support project and program delivery
  • Comprehension of Systems Development Life Cycle; knowledge of Agile Methodologies a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be able to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical people at senior and junior levels
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize efforts as needed
